Exploring Dove Mountain

Welcome to the resort-style community of Dove Mountain, just north of Tucson, AZ. This luxury, master-planned community comprising nine square miles of preserved natural desert is nestled in the Tortolita Mountains. Elevations range from 2,700 to 4,300 feet, providing cooler temperatures and gorgeous views. Dove Mountain gets its name from the Tortolita Mountain range. For the golf enthusiast, Dove Mountain has some of the best golf in AZ, featuring 81 exquisite holes across three golf clubs. The award-winning Golf Club at Dove Mountain’s 27 holes were designed by legendary golf champion Jack Nicklaus, and spans across three courses. This luxury club also offers a golf shop, practice areas, and a 45,000 sq foot clubhouse. The Gallery Golf and Sports Club features two highly acclaimed 18-hole courses that have hosted several high-profile events. This private club also offers fitness and spa facilities, pickleball, tennis, and pools. And The Highlands at Dove Mountain is a public 18-hole championship course designed by Arthur Hills. There are 25 different practice areas to improve your chipping, pitching, and sand play. All three clubs offer dining options.

Dove Mountain is served by the Marana Unified School District, including the Dove Mountain CSTEM K-8 school located within the community. Dove Mountain CSTEM K-8 opened in 2019 and is the first school of its kind in AZ to feature a specialized and innovative 21st-century learning experience. Students engage in rigorous computer science, engineering, technology, and math academics utilizing exploratory hands-on learning, mobile devices, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, science labs, outdoor learning, and maker spaces.

Dove Mountain center is located at the crossroads of Dove Mountain Boulevard and Tangerine Road. The shopping center offers several restaurants, a veterinary clinic, hair and nail salons, a pharmacy, walk-in clinic, dry cleaners, and more. The Shops at Tangerine Crossing are located approximately 2 miles east on Tangerine Road and host a grocery store, restaurants, auto care, medical office, and other retail options. Additional shopping is available within 4 miles at the Tucson Premier Outlets at Marana Center. This open-air outlet mall features a variety of name-brand stores, as well as opportunities to enjoy a snack along with the welcoming AZ climate.
